Josh has some seriously bad timing luck...

"Shares of Toast Inc. were tumbling nearly 10% in morning trading Wednesday after the restaurant-technology company said it was doing away with a 99-cent order-processing fee that drew pushback from customers.

“We made the wrong decision and following a careful review, including the additional feedback we received, the fee will be removed from our Toast digital ordering channels,” Chief Executive Chris Comparato said in a letter to customers that it also filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission..."

If only he had waited a day to "average up", as he said he did yesterday.

Well I'll give you the fact it's not a granny stock..... but holy cow Stoney.... you missed this call by 10 miles. Almost as bad as your 4% correction on the S&P at 4100.

In the same time period from that post, NVDA is up 160%. PLTR is up 157%.

What's important here is everyone hated PLTR back in March, and everyone loved NVDA. Only VZ saw where it was heading.

Cramer sent me an email today Stoney... he said I should change Muttley's name to Palintir.

So much work.... and all for free.

Thought I'd drop some Van negativity in case you all missed it... I'm getting from your emails that you enjoy a breath of fresh air without the carping all the time.

Here Van is beating me up about a stk I hadn't bought yet and being wrong on DIS for the Sixth time.

The truth is yesterday was a seminal day in a way and a lesson on FOMO or asset allocation.
I raised cash in my son's account when I started this thread and it has taken me until now to put some of it to work. We did have a 4% draw down in tech which made me feelgood but I was tracking STZ the whole time so that shouldn't of mattered. Drifting up I could take but this new info about board stuff I still don't understand entirely what went down but a slight agitation seems to have freed the stock up so I pounced yesterday.

As soon as I did I asked myself is this some sort of top? Sure enough down today./

The other stock I bought is really interesting.. I took a stab at a stock in a sector he likes Gambling and that stock is Gambling.com which I bought 1,000 shares off. I am hoping for a 100% return.

Now the good news-- I have dragged my feet and not sent any new funds to my e- trade account.... I am sure the moment I do this bull phase will end.
