Maybe buy a bigger battery?

Vz they think the smell is related to lack of power maybe. Does this make sense? I think so maybe my calibrator break clamp is skimming the wheel? That would slow down the vehicle.

Really hoping this doesn't cost alot! Getting a tune up, sparks clean the Crab, change oil and try and loosen wheel fix the low power problem and find the scary smell.....

In NYC this would ruin me// thank god for the burbs'

That's what I was gonna say, but I went down this road with him 4 years ago about this bucket of rust he loves so much. I think AMC used throttle body injection on that engine if I recall correctly, I looked it up for him and went step by step on a few things. As always he lost interest in that little adhd brain of his, and I never got any feedback or anything.

One thing to always look for in a vehicle that sits up all winter outside, especially in a colder area, is for those friggin' mice doing damage. especiallly on older vehicles because the insulation on the wiring contained some form of vegetable oil... whatever it is... and mice love to chew it up.

Drive it a round a little and then get out and feel the wheels. If one (or all) is inordinately hot, that's how you can tell if the brakes are stuck. I doubt that's the problem though.

But make sure he changes that fuel filter and sprays some cleaner on/in that carburetor too.

Ted the wonderful people of China respectfully disagree. They gave you marvelous entry today I think perhaps the stimulus not so much. That's ok we have much farther to go in our journey to China. Start with the Chine Netflix and merge through PDD and VIPS. Those are my three for now.
