Last night, social media was again rumour-filled with the premise that Sheikh Jassim had won the bidding war and would complete a full takeover of Manchester United.

This was due to a news outlet in Qatar suggesting an agreement had been reached with the American owners, however, this report was in fact based on a tweet from an unreliable and unknown Twitter account.
