GBA Presents: House of Gummy-!

I sometimes day trade CPG on decent Oil days or if the price drops enough in the range. It's not one of my main plays in Oil because it has serious resistance at $10 Cdn and not as much torque at the moment as some of their peers. It is a very cheap stock but until they get some respect on the market I'm not fighting it beyond easy momentum moves. I did play it late week but would have been better off keeping my Crew Energy ( nat gas ) one of my favorite trading stocks. I think the dual listing in NY actually hurts CPG at times more then it helps. However, in the scenario where Oil stays high and they bust out a good quarter, the stock could break resistance and run pretty good because it's a low P/E stock that tends to boost dividends ( some of the fund managers like it ).

Some Cdn Nat Gas companies had really, really good numbers even with the huge drop in prices. I had heard they are highly profitable even at $1.50 nat gas but the market seemed to be surprised by the profits ( eg Arc Resources, Crew Energy, maybe Pipestone ).

TerraPower
TerraPower is an American nuclear reactor design and development engineering company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. TerraPower is developing a class of nuclear fast reactors termed traveling wave reactors. TWR places a small core of enriched fuel in the center of a much larger mass of non-fissile material, in this case depleted uranium. Neutrons from fission in the core "breeds" new fissile material in the surrounding mass, producing Plutonium-239.

Bill Gates speaks to local residents and officials during a meeting Friday at a hotel in Kemmerer. KEMMERER — Bill Gates on Friday made his first visit to Kemmerer, the southwestern Wyoming town where his nuclear development company, TerraPower, plans to build its inaugural next-generation reactor.

After touring the planned site and the adjacent coal-fired Naughton Power Plant, and sitting down with community leaders at the new Fossil Fuel Coffee Co., Gates and several TerraPower executives spoke to a packed room of residents and state officials at a Best Western about their vision for the Natrium project.

“This is a pioneering move that will be a big part of how we keep electricity reliable and keep the United States at the forefront of providing energy technology to the entire world,” said Gates, who has long been a vocal proponent of modernizing the country’s nuclear fleet.
