Ok, do you get it now? If they are adults then polygamy = ok. If they are not polygamy = illegal. If you oppose, through LAW, ADULT ONLY polygamy, you are being intolerant.
werent you around when the preacher jerry falwell who ran for president proposed to do the exact same thing in the us years ago?Quote from CaptainObvious:

Quote from PiggyBank:
his post is on point, and when you are proposing LAWS that infringe on religious belief, you ARE being intolerant.
Now I am not going to go look through your countless anti religion threads but I am sure that i have seen posters on here trying to outlaw certain religious freedoms, not necessarily you.
edit: an example that comes to mind was the thread about a private catholic school holding an assembly and speaking out against homosexuality. Stu said that should be illegal, his position (stu) IS intolerant.
Quote from Free Thinker:
so are they consenting adults if in a male dominated religious sect the women are brainwashed into accepting that they have to marry older men who choose them?
if outside observers see that the women are being abused are we intolerant if we pass laws against that behavior?
I imagine Matthews would have a coronary right on the set and Maddow would be convulsing in the corner sucking her thumb.Quote from AAAintheBeltway:
Can you even imagine the media firestorm if some Evangelical Christian carrying a Chik-fil-A bag tried to shoot his way into some homo group's headquarters?
