Says pretty much every anti-education, anti-science conservative who wants to go back to the days when people actually didn't think critically and did what they were told. What university did you graduate from and with which degrees that led you to this belief?Unfortunately "proper education" in schools (The Little House on the Prairie style) does not exist anymore.

Schools, colleges and universities have now been designed to produce obedient servants with virtually zero critical thinking.
The "good old days" of education were largely pedantic memorization. My high schooler has taken college level calculus and his senior year will be taking differential equations, same with physics, chemistry, and history. Public school and he's in no way exceptional compared with to upper half of his class. By way of contrast, you even made it to 12th grade in Little House in the Prairie you were memorizing history dates and your 'rithmatic tables, and learning "manners" which said never to question what your elders told you, i.e. "whatever you do don't think critically". Why in the hell would we want to go back to that, unless you want to go back to living in sod huts with no plumbing, freezing in the winter and cooking in the summer. And that was for the lucky white folk! What an asinine comment.
