Gasoline going up....how to play it?

Quote from SideShowBob:

I'm convinced gasoline is bottoming and will be heading back up over the next 6-9 months (after the election). Can anyone suggest a good way to play it? I was thinking futures options but whenever I touch options of any kind I end up kissing my money goodbye....any other suggestions? Or is that the best I'm going to get (I don't want to just go long futures -- because hey I could be wrong).

SSB

I am gonna go fill up my tank....

I predict a mild winter for the northeast so I am not to confident that fuel oil and natural gas will increase much. (the only exception to this is if Bush or Bush/Israel start bombing the shit out of Iran which I think might very well happen soon) .
As for gasoline, I don't think people are driving as much as they use to due to the higher recent prices...

A car wash owner near me told me that his business for the first time in years has been off due to people not driving as much as they use to due to high gas prices...Now that they have come down, I think they will try and keep them down.

Anyone trading the RBOB contract? The volatility is quite impressive, 7 cent intraday range today! (700 ticks @ $4.20 per tick)

For anyone who trades it, are the spreads normally this wide? I'm seeing spreads throughout the day of between 20-40 ticks. It's trading similar volume as the NG (~22k on screen), though NG's spread is only 2 ticks wide.

It just shot up 3.5 cents (350 ticks) since I started typing this, insane..
