Gasoil Spreads

Hi,

Compared to the notoriously high volatility of most energy markets i am surprised by how little gasoil spreads move on an intraday basis and also the relatively high volumes traded there compared to other energy markets such as crude, heating oil, gasoline etc.

I was hoping someone could explain to me a little more about why this is.
