gaps don't mean a thing

think gap as a big thrust bar or pluge bar. often I fade a big thrust bar or plunge bar.

80~90% time fade the opening in a gap up

80~90% time go with the gap down

that means: 80~90% time short a gap whether gap or gap down.

only 10% time you should jump on a gap up

only 10% time you should pick a bottom on a gap down

I traded lots of gap, you need some fundemental analysis to trade those gaps.

90% time if gap up/gap down, over 30~50%, buy whether gap up/ gap down.

Unfortunately this is incorrect...

The mechanics behind a gap..., is not the same as a bar

How you trade it is your business.... I see no need to spread inaccuracies

Use them if you know how to. I know traders who do. However you can be profitable without bothering about gaps.
