Bloomberg is simply reporting what was said by the restructuring team that has taken over FTX.
The restructuring team does not "work for FTX" in the way that phrase would normally be understood.
FTX and all of its assets have been siezed by the US Department of Justice. FTX is no longer functioning as an exchange or a business entity. No one "works for FTX." The restructuring team works for the US government, and they are accountable to a federal judge overseeing the case.
You obviously don’t understand how restructuring works. Do you think Irwing Pickard was working for Madoff when he was doing restructuring of the fund? These are external specialists that are brought in to IRL - investigate, recover, liquidate. They are not friends of SBF any more than a guy who’s coming to reposes your Lambo is your friend
