As they say colleagues, simple is best, but not always. The other day I found this http://thebestofficechairs.com/ page, and gives a very good reference AmazonBasics, and indeed everything he says is true, buy it and have been pleased. But everything is to your dispocion. I recommend it, it has served me well. regards
 
I have been considering one of the classic style dxracer chairs. The only thing holding me up is the headrest. It looks like it is large enough to be a nuisance.

I don't think I could live with one of the racer style gaming chairs. The raised sides on the seat would drive me crazy.

Of course I can, simply buy something which is not that pricey anyway. What do you think about it ? Sounds good or not ? It really like $50 difference usually. I do understand that you need to spend some time looking for that opportunities, but it works.
 
my problem with most chairs is i like to set really low to the ground i need a chair seat height a couple of inches lower than most office chairs. my trading desk height is always about 27" so only very old herman miller chairs seems to work it's a good thing they are built well and last decades. i would love to find a new chair with low seat height like 12" to 13".
 
Are you going to stream on Twitch? If so, a branded gaming chair is mandatory.

ha. we are at the opposite end.
My 32" and 42" monitors are portrait format.
So I want the chair to be extra high.
Almost all chairs are too low for me.

I don't have proper tools to change the chair piston to extra long type.
So meanwhile, I just stack an old seat over my current chair to raise my eye level.
