GameStop (GME) to be added to the S&P 500

Who cares. The media and these big funds shouldn't have a monopoly on manipulation. Let it be a free for all. People are fed up with rules and regulations.

Don't you know the one rule that rules them all? When you are rich and big enough, rules and regulations don't apply to you. You can do the f*** you want. Twitter can even violate the First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech that is guaranteed in the US Constitution!! of a US President!! When you can get away with blocking a US President, you can pretty much do anything nowadays.

This has become a convenient excuse for the powerful. There's more racist, violent, adult content on twitter than there ever was on parler, gab, etc. Why hasn't AWS shut down twitter.

Private corporations shouldn't be allowed to make up their own rules that violate other people's constitutional rights. Period. We have lawmakers for that. Any rules or laws that superimposes constitutional rights are supposed to go through Congress first. Social media companies, server owners shouldn't be allowed to be the judge, the jury and the executioner!!

Be very glad this is the stocks section, and not the Politics section. If it were, I bet there would be some "disagreement" about that. :)

Doesn't mean I am wrong. Glad to see the restriction was temporary. Apparently the forum became public again after one hour. Good to know not every company is a douche like twitter.

"A Scottish journalist Charles Mackay, in his famous 1841 book Memoirs of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, wrote that "the wealthiest merchants to the poorest chimney sweeps jumped into the tulip fray, buying bulbs at high prices and selling them for even more."

I guess we would've been the poor chimney sweeps if we lived back then except we are now the poor chimney sweeps that can coordinate with each other on social media to pump up the price even higher to topple anyone who dared to sell tulips that they don't even own :D
