FXforex Feb 18, 2014 #1 PCLN earnings this Thursday Feb 20. Perhaps a 1-day trade with the Feb22 options? Calls? Puts? Buy to open on Thursday sell to close on Friday? TSLA earnings this Wednesday Feb 19. How about TSLA? Any comments/ideas from the peanut gallery? August 13, 2014 Last edited: Aug 13, 2014

B badnewsbear Feb 19, 2014 #6 I gotta say....what the hell are you thinking by betting against a momentum stock? Some traders would rather lose money.

On the bright side, you stayed small and your loss is capped as that put will more than likely be worth little to nothing. I was long the stock going in to earnings, 100 shares, and sold for a 7.5 point gain.

C CenFlo Feb 20, 2014 #8 Any thoughts on PCLN for earnings? I'm listening to Tom and Tony right now and their take on PCLN for earnings. It can make a massive move either way and it's beat Q4 2 of the last 3 years (2010, 2011, 2012 was met expectations.) Makes me wonder if this past quarter and old man winter causing all kinds of havoc on the travel industry will make any difference?
