FXY trading hours?
Since Forex is 24-hrs, I'm wondering how FXY trades.
And what about NYSE holidays?
Does the FXY just gap every day to "catch-up" to the JPYUSD?

New York opens at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (EDT)
Tokyo opens at 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST (EDT)
Sydney opens at 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST (EDT)
London opens at 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST (EDT)

FXY officially opens on the NYX at 9:30 AM EST and closes at 4:00 PM EST. However, the FXY will trade on other exchanges (ECN's) while they are open. And yes the FXY will simply adjust (on a daily chart) to reflect overnight trading on dollar/yen
 
Thanks. The other day after I read viktor_k67's post, I actually called Guggenheim Investments who manages the ETF and they said the same thing as you - NYSE hours with gaps to reflect.
