i bought FXCM yesterday in the after-market. expect the stock to go up nicely again when the news will be priced in on Monday.
Interactive Brokers also suffered losses around the same size, was down 10% yesterday on market open and recovered everything during the day.
by the way, why should it be FXCM's fault? ALL forex brokers suffered losses before yesterday (Citi, Deutsche, Saxo, IG,...). The only brokers who didn't lose (much) were the small bucket shops who don't have any clients (with sizeable accounts).
It's totally the snb's fault.
