Just an update: Our new lower spreads that I mentioned earlier are now available to US residents through FXCM US. They were already available to our clients worldwide through FXCM UK and FXCM Australia.

Hope you're well :)

Quick questions:

Any time frame on dealing desk spreads coming to FXCM Canada?

There's a lot of crosses that didn't receive a spread improvement with the dealing desk option... it appears the spread improvement hasn't been applied across the board. Is there any plans on extending the spread improvement to AUD, CAD, and JPY minors/crosses as well?

Any update on Active Trader's spreads and pricing since the new dealing desk was opened up?

Hi Jack,

Life is good, but busy. Getting ready for the Expo in Vegas next weekend. Hope you're well too.

I don't have a date for you yet on when our new lower spreads will be available in Canada, but I'll post an update here when I have that info. In regards to the minor crosses, currently there are no plans to reduce spreads on them. Spreads have been reduced by a pip on the 12 most popular pairs.

Since Active Trader accounts are already on our No Dealing Desk price feed without the retail markup, there have been no changes to those spreads.

Forex trading continues uninterrupted. FXCM is providing live chat and phone support today, but phone calls are being routed to our Hong Kong office instead of New York, because of the hurricane.
