Anyone ignoring a thread like that, given the kinds of TNT posts like yours and others spam trading forums with all the time, probably does not have what it takes to be considered an "intelligent trader," and should indeed ignore such a thread.
The thread was not meant for foolish people. That much should be clear just from reading it. It only appeals to the collective intelligentsia of the forum, not the antithesis.
Of course, people hell bent on go-no-where chaos in the Trading Community, would deem such a post as ridiculous. As far as I am concerned, the more ridiculous it appears to those kinds of people, the more meaning it has to the intelligent members of this board and the more it will expose either the abundance or the lack thereof.
So, by design, the thread will reflect the "worth" and true "value" of EliteTrader.com, by inverse relationship. Of course, those who deem it ridiculous, probably won't understand that dynamic either.
To that, I will also add this:
EUR Cross Index 2 Hour Chart:
1) This is a EUR cross index 2 hour chart, pulled from the EUR cross index instrument created in ProTrader, which contains several of the major EUR cross pairs.
2) In the pic, those familiar with harmonics will notice that not only can you find harmonic patterns in singular pairs, but they also exist in an aggregation of cross pairs, as well! There are several standard Harmonic Patterns seen in this EUR Cross Index 2 Hour Chart - for the trained eye.
Marsupilami:
This is an example of what I meant by trying to find the causal link between the standard harmonic pattern you might see in the singular pair EURUSD (as just one example of many).
If you notice the EUR Cross Index that I created over on the upper left portion of the pic., you will see the counter-currencies being used in the Index. It is a pretty mixed grouping of counter-currencies, yet you will notice that the Harmonic Patterns found in the Index are actually stronger and slightly more defined than in the individual pairs by themselves.
You can't see this unless you create the index and build the chart. This is also a non-standard 2 hour chart time-frame. This speaks to that region or "field" that I wrote about above, between the standard ratios and their ripple effect across multiple time-frames.
When you do these indexes, you see harmonic patterns everywhere you look, just about. It is almost as if, inside the indexes, there is nothing but harmonic resonance going on, all the time. A very nice find, indeed.
I just wanted to warn everyone against this educational service FXGroundworks who had good service but somehow relied on dishonest marketing. I registered on a friend's recommendation but since regretted. The emails were automated scripts, and when I tried to reply or unsubscribe, I still get messages saying "been trying to contact you", come on, didn't I already replied the email? And the content of the messages are outdated, like MoneyShow the "past weekend" and other nonsense. Anyway, be aware. I dislike dishonest marketing.

I just wanted to follow up with you to see how things are going and make sure you got my last email? Typically I tell people if they don't know about harmonics, that they might want to look into it and decide for themselves (which you really should do), but with results like we've gotten this whole year its hard to turn away from a methodology like this..
Just to give you an idea, yesterday Chris traded the usd/chf and with the high probability of these patterns, we banked around 140 pips.
Chris is rather funny, cause he'll be the first person to tell you that I have NO idea which way the market is going, or will go next... and its true! HOWEVER, what he does know is how to see when there is opportunity in the market and when there isn't. Putting yourself into a trade is very much like putting yourself in a room with a nuclear reactor and calculating probability is a must. The market is always open, and so are the casinos, and there is a time to 'play' and a time to stand on the sidelines and he would love to show you how harmonics can help you within just a few seconds give you a probability/percentage.
Anyways, get back to me because I need to know if you want to use the promotion code I have for you, or if I should give it to someone else...

Very interesting, Veyron, I like the concept of creating a Euro-Index.
What do you think of patterns such as bats, butterflies etc. by the way ? I have never liked that stuff and always felt that those patterns were not any more powerful than simple fib retracements.
