Futures question

I heard that for futures, there is a pit session and electronic session, and you can get quotes for "combined sessions". Now for trading purposes, should I get quotes for combined sessions, or just the electronic sessions?

totally forget pit...electronic is the way to go...forget pit...huge volume on electornic...pit futures will be gone in couple years

True for lots of markets, but not for all. Some are still more actively traded on the pits...there's more than just the stock-indizes!

yea, if you want bid/ask spreads as wide as the grand canyon...
