Futures Proprietary

I am looking for a Proprietary Company where I can trade futures. Who are the good Firms for this? Which Firms are the ones to avoid? I am looking to trade remote, by the way.

For kicks lets say that a little bird told me that he is trading from a city in the midwest that has no major prop firm with offices there.
If he is looking to trade remote is it important where where he is (as long as they have high speed internet access there, of course)?
