Futures or Stocks?! The truth

Quote from Spectra:

Warning to new traders.

All opinions on this site are PERSONAL. As a matter of fact, all opinions anywhere are PERSONAL.

Anyone ever been in court where 2 EXPERT witnesses give the opposite opinions?

But we will always have people, including myself, bark out facts and figures and conclusions like WE have all the answers.

And that is just my personal opinion

Your job as a new trader is to question everything! Like last week when the Cowboys were about to easily win their game and I said, "Looks good, although I still wouldn't bet the ranch because you never know. There was once this Miami Dolphin kicker, Garo Yep .... oops."

After all these years I'm still waiting to see some futures traders on the P&L thread with mid six fig's to match all the stock traders in that range. Futures traders must just be modest.

Tax advantages are only beneficial if you can make $.

I've posted my statements various times. Of course everyone thought they were too good and that they were Adobe Photoshopped. hehe It's amusing. I'm having fun on here today.

the return on futures is much bigger for daytrading futures. that is why pros who trade(daytrade) for a living prefer futures.

most retail traders/investors, hedge funds, mutual funds stick with stocks because with overnight leverage the return on capital is same. in the long run stocks are better return on capital than futures. futures mostly for daytrading.

Quote from Agyar:

Well, I spent alot of time trying to trade futures profitably, and could never break over break-even. I'm trading stocks now and consistently making fairly good money. As far as I can tell, it is alot easier to find a tradeable edge in stocks.

Kind of makes all of those other points irrelevant.

Today is Tuesday June 9th and your watching Pure Tick! Alex has just
created a video about trading biases. Most traders like to talk about
how their different long term biases. But sometimes you have to set them aside
and let the market tell the story.
