Futures options trade

Could anyone show me an example of a futures options trade, supposing I have $1000 and want to make a profit of $100. What would that trade look like, doesn't matter the underlying future, just want to see examples of futures options trades that would net that $100 amount.

Why futures?

  • IMO ....... Equity options are much easier to figure out with plenty of volume.
  • Lots of $1000 opportunities with equity options - I don't think the same can be said for future options.

  • This is a $134 trade, 2 days to expiry.
  • FB and AMZN report earnings today.
  • QQQ at $181.60.
  • Buy 1 QQQ Jul 2018 181.00 call at $1.34.
  • Should get you more than $100.00.
  • You risk $134.00.

EDIT: Expiry is July 27.
