futures down---redux.....GET USED TO IT FOLKS!

"just focus on oil tomorrow--and watch hedge funds screw with the economy again for their short term profiteering!"

How do I watch them do this tomorrow?? What do I use?

Hey Blue, you've been awfully quiet today.

If you learn one thing about the markets, please learn this. When you think you know what the market is going to do please assume you don't know. Don't feel bad about it, because no one knows

Moral of the story:

Adapt to whatever the market is willing to give you, and don't jump the gun.

Now that being said, the market may very well drop big time, but as far as I'm concerned the trend is in effect until it isn't. Now that is pretty simple.

sorry but the one thing you must learn is that the smart money knows every move - all successful traders trade with smart money - market exist because they prey on human nature (the Herd) - market moves up and the herd thinks buy! buy! buy! - market move down and the herd thinks sell! sell! sell! - just the opposite occurs, in fact, demand occurs on down bars and supply occurs on up bars - who do you think sells to the Herd when the markets move up and buys when the markets move down - smart money of course and as long as human nature doesn't change, markets will always be the same - trade on...

Of course you have to trade with the institutions, but not all institutions are so called "smart-money", and they don't all get together and decide to sell. It takes a great deal of time for them to roll out of their positions. There is not enough retail capital to buy all of the shares of the institutions so there has to be institutions that are just a dumb as the retail investor.

If you read an earlier post in this thread I specifically mentioned that you sell into strength and buy into declines so I think we are on the same page in that regard.

Yea the markets were down today for some rather stupid reasons-Wallmart sales sucked and blackfriday sales may be slowing or something like that. Not a big deal-the money guys will resume the buying.

If the markets drop another 2% this week it still isn't technically signifigant.

Up as predicted it would

The underlying buying pressure is too strong to let the market go down below support levels. Too much buying. People want in. They dont want to sit on the sidelines watching other people make money. Computer buying programs buying up shares. Big funds buying up shares. Everyone buying up shares.

i am curious...how much money are you working wiht in the market? $300? maybe $800 at the most?

Dac,

Why even respond to this guy? He is just a cheerleader and I guarentee IF the markets start to correct or even change their overall trend, he will be gone and wont post anymore.

i was taking a more active approach...i figure if someone call him a dumbass everytime he posts something stupid...we wont have to strain out his sewage to get to something realtively useful.

but maybe you are right...as soon as the market correction comes...he is gone...so not too much longer.

sorry must be a typo

I love 100% up room to go $$$

I think it's going to close green today. All morning I wish I could buy, there were a lot of scalping opportunities this morning, but I'm all in already:(.

It may be a down day tomorrow... tho I doubt it, but I don't think it will today.

The easy way to tell is checking the Hang Sen close, the US market has been reacting to the Hong Kong market closely. :D

Hang Sen is down, US is down, Hang Sen is up, US is up. It works.

Hope no market makers read this and come ruin my crystal ball:eek:
