Futures bid/ask scalping???

Hi Everyone,

I've been trading FX for three years, and have decided to take a look at a futures market. I've read several threads about ES scalping set up an account with IB and tried to simtrade it with zeroline trader.
Well my question is, is it realistic to scalp off buying bid/selling ask, because simtrading i only get fills when the price goes through. If anyone done this, then in what market and with what success?

Scalping the spread in the ES can be done. I did it for a few years, and I know many people who currently make very nice livings doing it.

It is as labor intensive as trading can be, and the burn out factor his high. I've moved onto to much more relaxed trading, as that style of trading took it's toll on me. I used to make 400 rt's a day.

In order to do it, you'll need TT, a seat lease, and a T1 connection. No question about that.
