When will trading activity move from the June contracts for the e mini S&P & e mini NDX to the Sept contracts. Normally when will the next contract start to dominate? Does it switch over before expiration day, or will June be the most active right to the end? Thanks.
 
both contracts are active right now. We are in roll over week. Active trading of september starts thursday.

Nasdaq 100 Index futures and options and E-Mini Nasdaq 100 futures expire on a quarterly cycle, generally the third Friday of the contract month.
