The sun has always been the answer.

I wouldn't view this trend as "futurecurrents wins". There are plenty of individuals who are AGW skeptics who strongly support alternative energy. There are a number of good reasons to support solar and wind including:
- Oil & gas extraction is a dirty business and impacts the local environment.
- At some point the supply of oil will run out. The supply is not unlimited.
- Oil importing supports countries that are not friendly to the U.S. such as Venezuela.

I am a strong supporter of alternative energy. I urge the government to implement policies supportive of alternative energy deployment (such as back-metering & removing solar panel limitations imposed by local governments). I am also support proper tax credits and grants to enable alternative energy (not the crony capitalism of the current administration).

all it takes is sunlight and a very little amout of water, you can do it in the desert, and you can create in a year what it took the dinasaurs 10,000 years to create. And unlike them, we can create it every day, they are about done producing easy oil.

there's about 7 major companies researching and delveloping it, I just thought it was funny that BP is the largest
