future broker for foreigners?

Do we also need have a US bank account to tranfer funds? Or do these broker listed in this thread accept transfer from my foreign bank? thanks.

Transfer from your local bank, no need for a US account. Visit the websites and look at the account opening page, you will see instructions for wiring funds, including full account details. Also usually FAQs for related stuff.

Do not wire funds until you have confirmation your account has been approved and you have been given the account number by the broker you choose.

zaner has excellent customer service and gives access to markethead which is pretty decent research imho however their commissions are a bit steep.
