I rented an apartment to a guy like him (it's been awhile I don't remember why I rented to him, must've had a deposit and 1st months rent). He used to sit at the top of the stairs and tell me he didn't have the rent, I said "that's okay". I later sold the place with him in it, last I heard his girlfriend disappeared and he is in jail.
