Funniest thing ever seen at a prop firm

i was a member at the nymex and we bet a guys clerk that he couldnt drink a gallon of whole milk inunder 10 min and keep it down for 20 min. the kid knocked it back no problem in under 5 min and sat down, 10 min later he looked like the fat kid in stand by me who projectile vomited. the kids boss lost 4k on that bet.
 
Walter stories and Datek trading when SOES was alive. I bet there were some crazy Datek stories. I got interviewed by Datek right before they changed the rule. The interview was in a 5 star hotel and the base was $40k. Very unusual for the industry.
 
I was working on the Hedge Fund Sales & Trading desk of a well known investment bank in the FX area....my boss and I were having a casual conversation w/ the head trader of a well known fund when he piped up rather quickly that he needed to buy 500 million bonds now...... so my boss being the prick that he had been to all of us thinks he being a "big timer" yells over at our basis trader who already knows which way the customer is setting up to go says "How many does he want" the boss says "He wants a price"....... unheard of in bond trading ...... complies given the who the custy is and offers a price .... the prick yells out loud to our bond dealer enough for all of broad street to hear "YOURS" completely opposite to what everyone thought ..... then realizeing his mistake yells again "IF YOUR THE CUSTOMER" nobody had time to yell at him we were all laughing so hard.... he was mocked daily for 6 mths until he left the firm
 
The big mac challenge......5 big macs in 5 minutes.....not a pretty sight. He failed and spent the rest of the afternoon sweating his arse off while trying to keep the 4 1/2 he did manage down!

nice, i heard about this...out by the horse after the close. he sits right next to one of our clerks. i heard he puked after the 30 min time limit. eewwwww jim
