Fundamental v Technical

I'm new to trading Grains. Most of my experience is in stocks.

When looking at corn for example, I see many fundamental factors to consider like yields, value of the dollar, oil prices, weather and more.

Does anybody trade grains soley using technical indicators? Or is doing this a quick way to ruin?

"They" say commodities are better suited to TA because of the time limitations intrinsic to futures.

I say use what has made you money in stocks and apply to grains.

1) "Fundamentals" are subject to interpretation as well as "technicals".
2) You have to be slightly more "careful" with grains because their pit-session hours are shorter than that of other financial-related markets.
