Fundamental analysis (only 4 basic factors)

There is a kind of fundamental analysis that takes into account only 4 basic factors. Does anyone know about this? I once read about this but can not remember the name of the book. Thank you.

Most equity neutral hedge funds don't trade "within a day". That would be silly. Fundamental data isn't updated that often.

you are right , i said active trading which may not be a good word. i meant day trading .one of Singapore trading gurus who holds a CFA doesn't use fundamental analysis at all & instead he uses technical analysis .
