Fun in Vegas! (20th - 23rd of November)

I'm sure Bally's consented to Bright using their name in their ad on Elite Trader.

Well, Bally's IS the host hotel for the Traders Expo....

I'll bet the Bally's folks will take all the publicity
- and filled rooms - they can get... :)

Quote from Andre:

It appears that $45 a night is for Sunday-Thursday at the Boardwalk.

By the way, I found Bally's through that last minute travel site, saying you could get a room for $69 a night for all three nights. That makes the third price I've seen for Bally's.

At the Trader's Expo site, it's $110 a night.

At the Bally's site, it's $69 on Thurs. and $149 for Fri. and Sat. I guess I'm skeptical that I could get $69 for all three nights. Hmm... think I may try it, however.

André

I lost out on a couple of other good deals like $30 / night at the Days End behind Bally's. Saturday it offered it, but Sunday morning the special promo rate was gone. I think Expedia had Bally's for 69 for all nights.

Consented? More like Demanded! Their PR people begged to be associated with the Bright Brothers. I had "my people" tell "their people" that we would allow the association of their name with ours, this time only (no more until they allow us to play Blackjack there).

Can't you cheap ET bastards flip a few extra dollars to stay at a decent hotel?!? Sun-Thurs are the cheap nights in Vegas and you should be able find any mid-level hotel for $50-75 a night. The Boardwalk? Come on! The hookers won't even go there. (Don't ask me how I know). I've stayed at the Riveria a couple times and paid no more than $60 a night. Last time I stayed at the MGM and air (Detroit), hotel and taxes were $374 for 5 nights during the week.

Take out your wallets and blow off the dust, cheapos!

You tell them!!

Also, check the brand new (rebuilt from the Maxim) CASUARINA LAS VEGAS (a Westin Hotel)...supposed to open November 1st. Since it's new, maybe you can get a special deal.
http://www.bookvegas.com has some prices on other decent locations.

Just a reminder to you guys on ET.... Let me know if you are planning on joining us either Sat or Sun after the Expo for a free ride to our office to attend the VIP reception and chat session.

I blocked room for 20 ETers and have 12 so far.....let me know via email to don@stocktrading.com Just give me a name and an email address (more info if you like and I'll send you the free 1 year TASC subscription as well).

ET "handle" preferred, but not required....(I know some of you like to keep your "anonymity")....

I am hosting a Very Unimportant Persons reception at the Z Tejas restaurant next to our office. If you would like to attend, please let me know. I guarantee better liquor and food than the Bright's.
(that means Bob's wife won't be bringing in finger sandwiches from Von's).

Our office is much closer to Bally's than Bright's, and I can assure you I will point you in the right direction as you stagger back to your hotel.

You are not required to visit our office, but, since it's next door, it would be polite.

Note to Don: NO BRIGHT TRADERS ARE INVITED, ONLY STUPID TRADERS.
