Does IB keep track of simulated trades / simulated account balances, or are you just suggesting that I can use this setup to find out what my fill price might have been and I have to track the rest myself?

ib doesn't keep any of your simulations..you will have real quotes,sizes. just write in your TS code to put all your trades in file for your record and that was it. i don't really understand, how you see from your point of view all this stuff, but -it's how i see it.
