Actually the last cable tv news channel I used to watch somewhat regularly was Fox. They lost me when Birther moved from Reality TV star to news star.
Most heard ... many, many?

It’s not good to be a parrot, whether CNN or Fox. Come to think of it, didn’t Fox declare a victory because a court, possibly Supreme Court, ruled they did not have to give factual information?
Trump repeats himself a lot. This is nothing new. There was a tape of a radio or TV show where Trump, in his thirties or forties was speaking fast and saying the same thing 2, 3, maybe 4 times to the interviewer. Trump may not even consciously realize he does this, but there is a definite purpose behind this. When Trump says something to someone, he looks at them and gauges their reaction. If there is no or a weak reaction, Trump will often repeat himself. Remember, Trump is used to running multiple businesses and projects at a time. He talks to lots of people and makes many decisions in a day. He needs a way to efficiently make sure the people he is talking to understand what he wants done. In addition, Trump relies on those with superior knowledge on a particular subject to either relay the pertinent information to him or at least give him their informed opinion. If the person Trump is talking to displays low confidence or hesitation, it annoys him because this slows his day down while he has to either suffer through the other guy’s weak presentation or find someone else who has the necessary expertise and confidence in what they say.
I do not know Trump personally, but have critically watched him speak and read one of his books.
