are they still around for retail? are there any brokers I can call on the phone to place futures and ETF whi charge a resoanable fee? Any experiences?

most broker still offer phone order with extra charge. That's what they do long time ago.

Full Service Brokers are usually very expensive and that is why online trading has become so popular. I'm guessing you have no interest in trading online ?

Nearly ever broker has a commission structure for a broker assisted trade. About 25 to 50 bucks normally.

Without deadbroke's strategy you WILL lose

Go for the jugular. If you are a decent looking guy, slim etc., regardless age, you look and act reasonably young, go for the gold. It can be had. Odds are 65% in your favor.

Take the smaller room on the left that has only 2 futons.

The time to go for the jugular is during slow-traffic periods, i.e. 2 PM afternoons to at the very latest 6 PM evenings. Stick with this window and you'll be successful.
