This a classical test showing what is called the "Barnum effect". The description of the person is so fuzzy that it can fit everybody.
Now at the beginning of my post I have made a thread on numerology and tried Decoz software for fun see :
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13483&highlight=numerology
For example I have tried on Hitler, my brother, friend and me which is above. A few extract that is funny:
" The temptation, and the danger for you, is to think of yourself as the savior of the world, carrying the burdens of others on your shoulders."
and it really insists:
"You are willing to sacrifice in order to advance your cause. Indeed, this seems to be a theme in your life. "
Also
"The fantasy of the hermit or monk engaged in a life of study and
meditation appeals to you."
How many of you think that he is savior of the world or want to live like an hermit
I have changed the name to see if it changes a lot, it doesn't so the software is heavily based on the birth's date.
For Hitler I was upset to see there was nothing special in the numerology given
My mother has also ordered when I was 12 my horoscope. It was said that I would die in mysterious circumnstance at age 22. I am still there so it was happily wrong (not for some of you but for me of course

).
Quote from axeman:
Yeah...it's all a bunch of hogwash.
Try this experiment.
Grab one of the POPULAR astrology books, which has lots
of details on each sign.
Randomly choose friends at a party, walk up to them, book
in hand, and tell them how amazingly accurate this book is.
Ask them their sign.
Read the description of their sign to them.
But here is the catch.... don't let them see that your actually
picking a different random sign.
