We all got burnt over and over again for so many times that we finally realized how critical it's to put risk management stuff above profits and anything else. Talking about getting frustrated, I got depressed for so many times (I was even thinking of suicide sometime) because I went bankruptcy once years ago when my accounts got blown out few times over years of trading. My ex-gf left me and my circles of friends disappeared gradually. It took few more years with many sleepless nights for me to keep mastering my knowledge and skills to get to where I'm right now. At the present, I finally paid off for my house last year with incomes generated from trading and yet, I can afford to support my spouse financially so she doesn't need to work anymore.
In a nutshell, here is what I think:
No matter how stressful or a painful long road to walk through, successful traders are the ones who keep mastering their skills and techniques to build trading systems that they keep making consistent profits and knowing when and where to cut loss immediately.
Losers are the ones who quit during the process of learning and trading.
Others will begin to seek mentors or educators to help them out, but at the end, these traders still need to figure out their own trading systems so they can trade successfully. Otherwise, they will get burnt again and again because they have no clue of what they are doing.
