Man, I don't believe it and I don't get it...
Good luck on your journey, ICT is a legend.
Also, risking 2% on a single trade is way too much, especially for a beginner.
Risk 0,5% on a single position first. this will also help you with getting emotions under control.
Also, there are plenty of prop trading companies where you can get funding once you achieve the skill. Maybe something to think about!
He's a good educator and requires dedication, commitment and ample note-taking and backtesting, but relatively unknown in these parts. Most likely you'll get a lot of shade cast from folks quick to criticize - put those folks on ignore to increase your signal-to-noise. There's truth to the truism "can't teach an old dog new tricks" in this particular case.
How are your structuring your assimilation of his concepts?
Man, I don't believe it and I don't get it...
Thank you for your comment. I understand that my story may have come across as confusing and I apologize for any confusion. I initially made money through mining PoW blockchains and achieved a then 20% growth., but then I moved into futures trading without proper risk management, which led to losing my capital multiple times. I learned a hard lesson and realized the importance of risk management. However, instead of solely focusing on risk management, I also want to focus on long-term capital growth and understanding price action mechanics. I understand that it may seem like I am not clear on my goals, but I assure you that I am determined to improve my understanding of risk management while also focusing on long-term growth and understanding price action mechanics. I am open to suggestions and guidance on how to approach this and I appreciate your input. I'll make sure to take the time to clear my mind and focus on what's important for me.
OK. Now I understand better what is in your head.
I see that you want to be a futures swing/position trader.
And you want to work on
- Money Management (risk management)
- Method (price action ...)

I am structuring my assimilation of Michael J. Huddleston's concepts by watching his videos on YouTube, taking detailed notes and backtesting the strategies he teaches. I understand that not everyone will agree with his methodologies and I have learned to ignore the negative comments and focus on the valuable information he provides. I am dedicated and committed to learning and implementing his concepts to improve my trading skills.
Thank you for the advice, I have thought about this subject in detail and I agree that 2% is too much for a beginner like me. I will definitely take your advice and start with risking 0.5% on a single trade which will help me to control my emotions. I will also keep in mind the idea of getting funding from prop trading companies once I achieve the skill. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with me, it is greatly appreciated.
There’s a lot of content. I’m asking which series have you gone through and which one are you working on right now.
“Ignore” as I reference it is a feature of this forum - a setting that you can activate per user. This setting keeps your energy from being drained by reading bs. “Block” is also another feature and setting and keeps your posts hidden from those those who are just gonna troll you.
ET has some true gems but also a collection of salty traders with marginal performance - if they trade at all. They act like crabs in a bucket.
Thank you for the support.Good luck!!
