I thought he meant to say from $700 to $1,000 in a year..... which is an annualize return of over 40%.
As it turns out, he actually did mean to say $100,000.
So either he is simply having fun with us, or he will soon be gone from the market...... and here.
When he is gone, I expect he will look back a year from now and think..... "I would have had a $1,000 by now".

We should be grateful for variety.

Over in the prop firms forum there are some 4 threads 154 pages about TST and Patak and they are still arguing today about the exact same stuff as when it all started.

I knew of someone that turned $500 to $15K in one day, pyramiding on a monster trend.

So what if he lose $700, the worse is that he gets a job, and make that back in a month. It's actually easier to trade when you have $700, you either get a margin call very quickly..and you lose $700. Or you get lucky, and make some money.

It is actually worse to see someone with a large account, and then getting the margin call.

Or he can be a good dad and get his kid some nice clothes and gadgets so she won't get laughed at when its time to go to school, grow up mentally scarred that her dad's a loser. Nah, lets just gamble, after over 18+ years of failure, this time it has to be different even though the odds are as bad as ever!

Do you even know him?? i mean, what makes you think he is a bad dad and that his kid doesn't have all that he or she needs. As a matter of fact he has said repeatedly that his child has all that he or she needs. Lets sit back and watch the show, for all we know this person might really be able to pull it off, wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

I've been around long enough to know what he is about. and i'm sure the parents that get arrested for malnourished children also think their kids have all they need.

Well it looks as though ET is more interested in the OP's journal than he is.

Anyhow, I have a 2K subaccount at IB that I'm going to use to take a crack at "The Run," Archie Karas style lol. If I feel I can keep my interest in it, I'll start a separate thread in the journal section.

Here is my first trade attempt, currently in progress:

Short eur.jpy at 117.70, with stop loss now at breakeven, and a profit limit order at 116.69 ... chart showing trade levels is attached.

11:29 EST stop loss moved to 117.33 ... I'll see how it shakes out in the AM.
