I don't understand why she's raising money when her husband is worth hundreds of millions.

1) She got her MRS degree from UVA and married a rich guy.
2) She was never a finance, trader nor investment professional in any real sense. That's obviously apparent from her hedge fund departure within one year.
3) Her cosmetics "business" is a hobby. She wants to squander other people's money and not her own. That indicates some modicum of "business sense" on her part. :eek:
From my analyst class there were two girls who left the industry to start their own businesses and one guy.
