Remember that's only a cases kill rate, an unknown amount of people have it mild to not symptoms at all which never get counted as cases.

Sweden catching flak for high case rate, so they tested more to keep people happy.

Practically no new cases in my area, none for 7days I think, so it's over!!

Over? Depends on what you're talking about being over - the 'pandemic' or the hysteria. Here in Nova Scotia, we had no new cases for 2 weeks, and less than a hundred active cases. 63 total deaths - all in nursing homes. So, after these last 2 weeks of ZERO NEW CASES, what did they do?

They made masks mandatory indoors.

wtf? I'm going to write 'fascism' on my mask.

SARS did not evolve into something harmless, it's as deadly as it ever was, it was contained by swift response and quarantine, much like MERS or ebola.

Containment was an option for COVID maybe back in December. That ship has sailed. Our best hope is it doesn't mutate into something deadlier that starts taking out juveniles.

it's ok, you're not the only that struggled with the concept of exponential growth. The thing's here to stay, our odds will improve as therapeutics develop & this becomes yet another seasonal virus.

H1N1=vaccine & not really that deadly
H5N1= never that deadly or contagious in humans, plus massive efforts to contain
SARS=contained, remains just as deadly
MERS=contained, remains just as deadly

Pandemic, Hysteria is going to continue for ever, why waste a good feardemic, they put masks indoors in here 2 weeks ago, well face covering of any kind which is just pointless.
