Well, here in Spain u have to wear a mask even if u are alone in an outdoor parking lot or a deserted wide avenue, with temperatures around 100°F. I don t care about the virus but under those conditions avoid going to public places.
Wish now we got a virus that killed every asshole who thinks it's fine to lock in others because he's scared of the covid. Might soon expand this wish to any fucker who want to force a face mask upon others, but then it would get quite desertic around here.
If it can kill assholes that over react to 40 new positive tests of people that feel completely fine, that would also be fine.
And the UKs experts the SAGE group, bigger fear mongering muppets than the WHO, the R rate has increased to 1.1 we think, we have no test to prove this but 6weeks more lockdowns just so we can feel important.
Still can't visit mates \ family inside not till xmas, but pub with strangers is fine or gym, what's the difference? Although only the real snowflakes are paying attention to this, Boris is whining on about it, and we are all, we stopped listening to you 3months ago and your that dumb you've not realised.
Name one virus that's "burnt" out w/o it being stamped out through eradication or evolving into something harmless?

You answered your own question in that they “evolve into something harmless” that’s my point... Mutation, as we naturally build strains to defend against them .. viruses are A necessary evil to the human body..
SARS did not evolve into something harmless, it's as deadly as it ever was, it was contained by swift response and quarantine, much like MERS or ebola.
Containment was an option for COVID maybe back in December. That ship has sailed. Our best hope is it doesn't mutate into something deadlier that starts taking out juveniles.

it's ok, you're not the only that struggled with the concept of exponential growth. The thing's here to stay, our odds will improve as therapeutics develop & this becomes yet another seasonal virus.
