Thanks, I'll monitor this one and look for something similar next weekend. I was long /ES the weekend that Trump tweeted the China deal was off, barely got out breakeven on Sunday futs open. Can't get caught again.

Do you have a guess how much of your P/L in this journal will be from index vs SN vol ?
I would assume the bigger edge is in index, no?
I've got a small short D position in GOOGL and BA. Small Ds in AAPL as well. I will be in DC over the weekend so I'm not going to add here. $13K utilization. $200 theta.
The Fed vol-drop worked as expected, but I didn't flatten out when I was up $1,200 on the trade. I went long at the close of Fed-day, but too soft. The "sticky" stuff I had on worked well and I was green on Thurs even though spooz were up 25.
I'll probably not be trading until Tuesday.

Up $1,600 from inception of the journal. I had the margin account showing, but it's not part of the journal. Up 3% in the first three days. I deleted the last post which showed the taxable account gains when I allocated GOOGL trade to the wrong account. I'd be up $2,600 if not for that allocation error. It would skew the "YTD PNL" if I kept it.
