During election day, 2020, those voters who are not permanently locked into a party will likely choose based on how they feel and whether they are better off under Trump than Obama or current Obama alternatives. Personally, I feel much better about voting for Trump now than I did in 2016. My thoughts in favor of Clinton were: It would be cool to have a women President, we would at least get a piece of Bill again, Hillary endured vicious Republican attacks for years making her deserving of “sympathy points”. My thoughts against a Hillary President were she acted like she had a huge chip on her shoulder, implying she did not weather the Republican storm well, her divisiveness as shown by her basket of deplorables comment, the sense she had become a part of the establishment with the Clinton Foundation and large speaking fees, her over reliance on identity politics, turning off the more Conservative of the Obama voters, and her lack of a convincing plan that would effectively address key issues. Trump, for all his issues, struck a cord with enough Americans to win him the position.
Trump has delivered on key issues and Democrats do not have a Presidential candidate as strong as Hillary, again implies Trump wins reelection in a landslide. All roads ultimately appear to lead to a Trump Reelection. There may be some twists and turns along the way, but the ultimate direction is inevitable at this point.
The fact you have decided to not address some of my points tells me you are either don’t have a counter argument or maybe you feel deep down inside you are fighting a losing effort and you are only willing to commit so much work.
I have given you a well supported roadmap of our future. How about going over it in earnest and either refute my points, which would likely cause me to stop supporting Trump, or reconsider your position.
This is America, you can still do what you want: The question is, do you want to be on a team of winners or a team of losers?
Edit: I retract my last statement concerning winners or losers because it is too broad and may imply I’m saying anyone who chooses the opposing party is a loser. I definitely don’t mean that. Especially considering I am a long term registered Democrat and a semi social Liberal. I apologize and please don’t call me Hillary!
