Freedom of speech at stake

Well the American people are hurt when someone dumb reads a QAnon post and then goes shoots up a church in a black community.

Rationality is lost when the airwaves can be polluted with Russian (or the President’s) misinformation.

You can spend hours reading several sources to understand if something is true. But you shouldn’t have to.

I’m not saying twitter gets is completely right, but it has not been shown in this thread that Twitter is biased in which stories they ban. In another thread here is an unvierifed claim about hunter Biden that was posted from twitter. It has not been banned.

As you mentioned earlier, truth is a fluid concept. Everyone lies and most people telling the truth are only telling a portion of the truth. It's impossible for social media to control disinformation.

I'm not on Twitter, FB, or Instagram. I'm definitely not on 4chan, so I have no idea what Q'anon posts. Anyone that's stupid enough to believe what they read on those platforms probably deserves to be misled.

Whenever a story comes out, I typically read several different news sources from both the left and the right so that I can accumulate the facts and make a judgement for myself. That's the only method I trust since everyone has an agenda.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.

If a Democrat is down-and-out he wonders who is going to take care of him.

I

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it

If a Democrat decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican is unhappy with an election, he grumbles and goes to work the next day.

If a Democrat is unhappy with an election, he burns down a Starbucks, throws rocks at cops and takes two-weeks off for therapy.

1. Tell me about all those down and out republicans in mississippi..the poorest state in the country....you telling me they don't receive state and federal assistance and aid from the government?

Tell me about those GOP businesses and farmers who get billions in bailout money.....why can't they just make their situation better rather than getr corporate welfare huh? why did Trump's children beg for PPP if they can just make their situaton better...

2. So poor republicans magically go out and get jobs and get health care working as a waitress or contractor...

3. I remember GOP claiming that if they lost the election they would claim fraud and refuse to leave the white house..

stop the bullshit that GOP and Dems don't swim in the same pool of hypocrisy.

Poor GOP still don't have health care and they don't live without government assistance.

That's not what cons said for 3 yrs of Russian meddling investigations. They kept swearing that what they read online had no influence on their vote. So why the sudden butt hurt hipocrisy? They kept reassuring those worried about foreign meddling that we do it to them anyway and they've been doing it for years and on past elections. So if that's the case, then the "spooky" technocracy has done it in past elections by that same logic and thus acceptable.

“We recognize it as a mistake that we made, both in terms of the intention of the policy and also the enforcement action of not allowing people to share it publicly or privately,” Dorsey confessed at Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

But he was still playing games, saying the move was “corrected” within “24 hours” — when Twitter actually kept The Post’s account locked for two full weeks.

Social network Parler has allegedly hidden posts on its website that are tagged as #WriteInTrumpForGA. The hashtag is encouraging disgruntled supporters of President Donald Trump to write the president in rather than any candidate for the upcoming Senate Runoff elections.

The hashtag originated in a Super PAC with GOP ties. The Committee for American Sovereignty, connected to political consultant Roger Stone, launched a website calling for people to "Hack the Runoff," and write in Trump.
