Americans have no voice when they are busy looking for work and stressing about the rent, utilities, and even food.Perfect!
One claims to be the press while the other one doesn't?
I can't demand Fox keep an interview of me online if I start saying crazy shit
FOX News....CNN....Facebook....there is no right to be claimed as the people running them can do whatever they want.
Saying the word Press does not change anything.
People need to understand 1st amendment is freedom from GOVERNMENT control/censorship.
FOX... FB...Twitter is allowed to do whatever they want with their format as far as what they allow.
Still don't understand why people are getting their panties in a bunch and constantly INCORRECTLY claiming freedom of speech as though it applies.
There is no legal definition of Press, all media is private and subject to ownership terms and condition.

I don't support unfettered freedom of speech, and neither does anyone else, or the law. Along with yelling "fire" in a crowded theater, we have libel, slander, "fighting words", inciting to riot, inciting overthrow, threatening the president, and more I'm probably not recalling off the top.
Qanon style blah blah that emboldens some nut to go armed and shooting into a pizza parlor needs to be shutthefuckdown.
This is true, but the argument is properly classifying Twitter, FB and the social media platforms in order to apply these rules correctly.
That, and of course, the hypocrisy behind it. Twitter has a right to censor anything they want, but they can't call themselves a public forum then. They're a content provider and subject to libel and other lawsuits that come from material posted on their site.
If they want to claim to be a public forum, then they are subject to Freedom of Speech checks and balances from what I understand and cannot censor one side or the other.
The problem is that Twitter wants the best of both worlds. And the others as well.
