WTF Horrible day -$3000 hitting the drawdown limit of 2,500 so 2nd and last failure I notice that the worst days are actually days when i have time to concentrate on the market ES was down 225 got it back in NQ where i was even up 400 but one of the things i was working on was pushing winners so after NQ was up i though hey wouldnt it be great if ES was at least at 0 near the close i played the push up on the close theory it dropped 15 points and at that point i was in the hey its only a demo let me add max NQ contracts and thats how you lose 3k in 1 day

Even though i crapped out of the gauntlet I have Rithmic data until December I'll keep practicing. Super frustrating doing things that you know will result in failed trading. A simple -225 loss(still up overall) and a day off was enough to trigger the feeling of I cant be wrong and I can get it back. I know the all the emotions of potentially getting a funded account wont be there but I'll continue to try to get the 10% profit target and adhere to the rest of my rules.
Daily broke through the 200 near basic TA support with all the news can it even hold?

After listening to the latest convergent trading webinar on sizing up part of the trader mindset series. Since my issue is clearly accepting a loss. My goal will be to loss no more than $300 a day.
I was looking at my journal it was actually pretty informative for me so i think i should be doing this if im going to still be trading video loging is good but Im not that active for it to really be useful. Listing my plan for the day and also watching what i did would be much better.

Normal Day - Stayed within IB range(>=5pts)(4%) Wide IB OTF did business early on and left daytraders in control
Normal Variation Day - IB Range >=5pts and 1IB Side Broken(+50%) OTF not active at open but stepped in later in the day. Generally OTF valuing new info
Trend Day - Range > 21 points closes within 25% of High(14%) OTF in control from the open little to no countertrend rotation. Extension well beyond IB
Double Distribution Trend Day - Quiet open area is thoroughly tested smaller than normal IB OTF steps in later to extend the range beyone IB. OTF steps out and value is re-established
Non-Trend Day - IB Range < 5 neither IB broken(3%) no OTF
Neutral Day - Both IB broken close within IB(16%)
Neutral Day Extreme - Both IB broken close at 1 of the extremes(11%)

Losing day - 6ticks
I missed several trades while working that i had marked for the most part unless i was managing them actively they were expect for the early morning trade were losses. The one before i took was going to be a long in NQ it went for 20 points then turned. I saw what I though was a turn and decided to stalk a short looking for a break of 41.
Looks like i was in business renko was looking good and bookmap was looking good for a short
entered thinking this is good
stopped out at 41s at support
the better entry after retesting the swing highs and failing
