ddunbar would you be willing to share what you did to finally get symbols into the IB configuration?

I have been able to get Account Manager to see my IB account, and I configured Trade Manger to IB, but I cannot enter any new symbols. I get "Waiting for data" in the black box. ... and there are no entries in the symbol map box under the ... pick. Also API errors 300 and 101.

Any insight appreciated. The DOM does look good.

Also, thank you for your comments on the TradeManager's DOM. We worked hard on that, and will continue adding features to make it more useful (eg, VWAP, IV, enhanced hedging, etc.).

Another area we'll be enhancing is symbol entry - IB uses comparatively sophisticated symbology (eg, requiring variables like currency), but we're working on a method to streamline it.

Thanks for the PM that got me up and running. I will continue to work with the interface and give you impressions.

Folks, Brent has been very receptive to my observations/ideas, and you only get a "first impression" the first few times you use something. After that you get to "know" it, and you adjust to its character. So if you see something that could be better, let Brent know and it likely will be improved in the next revision.
