ok that makes sense to me. lets see what others think risk management looks likeAre we talking about systems or individual trades now?
Your question is context dependent.
If I'm learning a new market/instrument/process/strategy/tactic I want to invest more time than capital. Once I have integrated new information into long term memory, tested and verified it, then max risk capital deployed at predetermined timeframe/events/levels as per my current methodology.
And the onus on everyone else. Good job so far, if that is your objective and not to elucidate and "mentor".im trying to keep my posts under 9000

Take less risk. In the beginning, it's more important to establish winning habits and learn how to be right than it is to cash in.Can we please talk about what are the things beginners can do to cut down their losses?
I would stay away from signal services. learn how to trade so you dont have to depend on anyone. thought that was the whole point. i laugh when i see people treating this as a hobby' there is no place for laziness in forex' you will get chewed up@AttoCEL, do you know a consistent profitable Forex signal provider ? I mean as insurance for themselves there could be such traders providing signals (e.g. on telegram channels, easy to setup). Like on banks and funds when they do not trade their own money. So with paid subscribers they could cover their fix cost for some years.
