Free blog sites for FTP

Hi, I used to register a domain to a hold a few HTML files for my own site..but have recently deactivated. I am wondering if you know of any free blog service with FTP that I can transfer my HTML files to and access them online.

So is there a reason why you are wanting them online? In other words, why not just open the html files locally with your web browser.

Can someone just answer the question posted instead of trying to be smart and asking questions
 
You need a web server for what you want to accomplish. You're not likely to find any free web hosting. And web hosting services have most likely turned off FTP due to security issues. SSH/SCP is the way to go unless they have a web-based upload service.

The lowest cost web hosting service I know about is Dreamhost.com @ $9/mo.

Did you try Googling for "free webhosting?"
