if the lines are drawn a little bit different then the ftt or FTT is clearly visible. If there is a VE the lines have to be accelerated.

I don't see red IV in that down thing, so all we have are regular VEs for that down thing, no? Here is it from my chart. If we accelerate & redraw TLs from the top of the 1125 bar (EST, blue arrow) then we'd FTT, but we can't draw it that way, can we? If yes, why do we accel on a regular VE if it's not ITZ (in order to make this thing FTT)?

Sorry again... because Hero is using a slightly different terminology than Jack did, in this thread I don't know if this ITZ is something important or not.

What I see... and what I remember from Jack... is that there is a container. Call that container whatever you want. In this container at the blue arrow I would see a VE and immediately I would need to accelerate (create a new RTL) the RTL. If you never accelerate RTLs then that might be the reason why you sometimes don't see a FTT.

Oh Ok, thanks. My understanding of it is we don't get permission to accel unless the VE is of the nature where it posses "IV + the price bar closes outside the existing LTL" (referred to as ITZ = in the zone). In this case, we get a close outside the LTL but it's not on an incr vol bar.

Jack would accelerate on a regular VE (regardless of volume & where the price bar closes), instead of cloning the LTL & re-anchoring it?

Thanks. Thinking in terms of real-time analysis, as of the red bar marked Pt2 we have everything we need for a Tape (or some call it a traverse), right? That Pt2 bar also looks like a SOC as it's IV and closes within the range of the previous bar, and in real-time would have been a Tape RTL cross on the next bar (around 1430).

This relates to my initial question, but a simpler version... what would keep us from wanting to reverse there? We see that the potential up Tape failed and there was a new low. Which means we'd have to fan around that and from roughly 1430 to 1520 becomes part of that same Tape. Is there some clue that says the Tape may not be done on that Pt2 bar? Or is that just par for the course, and we very well would reverse & end up washing out via proper trade management (or small profit if exiting on aggressive clue)? In that little up move, we did get IVB also which in real-time might only serve to think we've made the right decision in going long. Any views or tips on this type of situation? It happens a lot in run-on Tapes as well, although we don't always get the slower RTL cross like in this simplistic example.

Or maybe there's a detail I'm missing that means we wouldn't even consider what I've asked? Seems like those last up/down legs can repeat over & over and we're continually guessing about whether the down thing has ended or whether we'll have to fan it (once we know we've already achieved the minimum required components, that is).

Nice find baro; the medium thickness gaussian sequence is exactly what I would've put down for a fully completed trend sequence if I was annotating that chart in RT. I annotate one more level down though, so their L2 is my L3 and they don't annotate my L1.

In real-time, what would keep you from thinking the bar marked P2 is the end of the trend, and acting upon it? It seems to be a SOC bar & we also get what would have been a RTL cross (and also IBV). Any clues there that I'm missing, or have I identified the built-in risk that simply can't be accounted for in real-time?

In examining the FC from 10:10 to 10:30 can be seen a complete volume cycle and FTT on a faster fractal. What are the indications on this time frame that the fractal containing BBT1 has been promoted to a higher fractal?

Great question, ditto (and why).

Also, you said..."FTT on a faster fractal", based on what? Would that mean we can FTT on a VE any time we want to? Why, why not? And more importantly, how would we know not to? In real time, we can't be stuck with "maybe" if it impacts a trade decision now or thereafter.
